Happy New Year!

It's a mild, grey first day of 2023 at the farmette. Can't believe how much the weather has changed in a single week. The blizzard meant that we were soooo glad to have our neighbour Larry Schlosser blow out the driveway - four days in a row.

We had a very quiet Christmas and New Year. We've been hunkering down due to a bout of COVID, so not a lot of news to share. Instead, I'll do a wee photo montage of the farmette - to show and tell just how much has changed outside the farmette house in a single week.

Here we go:

Deck door on the east side.

Wall on the east side:

Out the front porch.

Car and garage.

So, there you have it. What a difference seven days makes in Grey County. Looks like we're in for more rainy, mild weather over the next week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, safe and sound 2023.

Gratuitous cat photo courtesy of Fred (in the tunnel) and Wilma. The after-Christmas toy was a big hit with all five cats - who took turns lounging inside.
